Not only that, but the Dreamcatcher members recently celebrated their 6-year anniversary with InSomnia! Congratulations to the members and InSomnia for celebrating such a special moment in time. Before the debut of Dreamcatcher, under Happyface Entertainment, MINX debuted on September 18, 2014. MINX was a 5-member girl group that included JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami. MINX debuted with their digital single, “Why Did You Come to My Home,” and went onto release their first EP, Love Shake. After their first EP release, MINX unfortunately did not create new music. Instead, Happyface Entertainment announced that the members of MINX would re-debut under a new name, Dreamcatcher.
Under Dreamcatcher Company, formerly known as Happyface Entertainment, Dreamcatcher debuted on January 13, 2017. The members of MINX, JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami re-debuted as members of Dreamcatcher, while also adding two new members to the roster, Handong and Gahyeon. This 7-member girl group debuted with their single, "Nightmare," in 2017, and have been spreading positive influences through their music as "global K-Pop messengers” by addressing significant societal issues. Some of the societal issues include topics about nightmares, the risks of the digital age, and the effects of climate change.
In recognition of their musicality, Dreamcatcher achieved remarkable achievements in 2022, with their first music show win in South Korea through their latest hit “MAISON” (1,924 days since their debut), and being invited to a big music festival, “Primavera Sound,” in Barcelona, Spain. Dreamcatcher showed extraordinary love to their fans (InSomnia) by preparing meaningful gifts. In addition, Dreamcatcher has captured the hearts of music fans both domestically and internationally, showing aspects of a well-rounded idol group with a variety of charms, including strong dynamic tracks with powerful vocals to beautiful soft ballads. Dreamcatcher has demonstrated their talents, their music, their charms, and further goes to show why they are a group worth listening to and following.

After a successful world tour in 2022, and following a new digital single release, K-Pop’s concept-shattering girl group, Dreamcatcher, will be hitting the road again within the U.S. with their <REASON : MAKES> DREAMCATCHER 2023 TOUR! The girls are ready to take on 9 cities across the U.S. The U.S. tour kicks off with their start in Atlanta, on February 28, 2023, and continues on in seven more cities, before reaching their last stop in Los Angeles, on March 20, 2023.
Dreamcatcher has received love from K-Pop fans from all around the world, and was crowned as the “2022 Best K-Pop Star” of female idols by Forbes Korea. Dreamcatcher’s previous show in Los Angeles in 2022, was sold out along with other cities in the U.S. Dreamcatcher has since then gained more attention, and is excited to be back for this coming tour. The group will reunite with their fans in the U.S. through their <REASON : MAKES> DREAMCATCHER 2023 TOUR.
On January 9, 2023, despite their busy schedule ahead of their U.S. tour, Dreamcatcher surprised InSomina with a “Special Mystery Code” teaser for an upcoming release indicating their 6-year anniversary on January 13, 2023. Their special digital single, “REASON,” celebrating their 6-year anniversary contains a message to InSomnia - who have been by Dreamcatcher’s side for the past six years, from their debut title “Chase Me'' to “VISION,” and it’s a promise to those who want to spend more time with the members together.
Dreamcatcher’s “3D VR MUSIC CINEMA: The Curse of the Spider” was released for free for a week, leaving a deep impression on InSomnia around the world. Fans are paying keen attention to Dreamcatcher, as they are known for showing various performances across genres as self-certified talented idols. InSomnia are especially excited as Dreamcatcher will be back with a new setlist! Dreamcatcher, who have continued to grow rapidly with every new album, are getting ready to prove their global popularity through this U.S. tour.
