EVENT COVERAGE
It has only been one month since K-Pop superstars, ONEUS, kicked off their first world tour, Reach For Us, and began their journey to visit their beloved fandom, TO MOON, all over the globe. Since then, the quintet has burned different stages across the U.S., and ultimately wrapped up the leg of their U.S. tour in Los Angeles, California at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Let's dive into ONEUS' super elaborate stages, their personable speeches, and their undying love for TO MOON, which was displayed throughout their Los Angeles return.
SETTING THE STAGE

As I previously witnessed their performances during their Blood Moon tour in March 2022, this would be my second time seeing ONEUS perform in Los Angeles, California. Since I have seen the group once before, I know that I can expect a night of exciting performances and music! I arrived around thirty minutes before the concert began, my seat surrounded by cheering fans, who chanted along to ONEUS' songs being played over the auditorium's speakers. As a somewhat longtime fan of ONEUS, I recognized many of the songs that were being played, and hummed along to them in my head.
DANCE COVERS, PERSONABLE MENTS, & A TRIP TO EDEN
The very beginning of the concert started with the VCR - the visuals used clearly coincided with the concept of their most recently released mini-album, Malus, which explored themes that were visually and conceptually similar to topics like Adam & Eve and the Garden of Eden. Once the five boys entered the stage, the auditorium was awash in their powerful presence. The fluorescent lighting casted a dark shadow over them, and created a visually stunning silhouette of each member. The show's opening number was, “Bring It On” - this boisterous track was a very electric start to the show! The first section of the concert was additionally supported by the performances of “Come Back Home” and “Who Has The Joker?”
The concert's setlist made heavy usage of ONEUS' most recent comebacks, but also included older fan favorites such as “LIT” and “To Be Or Not To Be”. Much to my surprise, the group performed their now-viral cover of “Pink Venom” by BLACKPINK, as well as some neatly choreographed dance covers of “Sexy Back” by Justin Timberlake, and “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins in a medley of pop songs. During their ments, ONEUS wasn’t afraid to speak candidly with their fans, and make an effort to hype up the crowd even when there was no music to be heard. The five members took the time to reflect on their previous experiences on tour and in Los Angeles, citing fond memories of their last time traveling the world to see their fanbase, and picking up a fondness for the California weather.
ONEUS is a group that isn't afraid to try new things and try new musical concepts. Their discography glides from heavy usage of Korean traditional instruments and visuals within songs like “Luna,” to hard-hitting grinding instrumentals as found in “No Diggity.” Regardless of the concept, ONEUS effortlessly shape-shifts its formations to fit the attributes of whatever it is that they're providing on-stage.
CONCLUSION
ONEUS ended their concert with one final ment, and an encore performance of “No Diggity,” promising their fanbase that they would be back before too long. The members entered the aisles of the crowds and greeted TOMOON face-to-face before finally ending the show.
As a fan of ONEUS, I was excited to be able to cover their concert and see them again in action! Their well-designed choreography and flashy concert designs always make for an exciting and worthwhile show! If ONEUS does return to make its mark again in Los Angeles, I would be happy to witness it a third time.
