EVERLAST KOREA is ending this year strong with content all about TEMPEST! In collaboration with TEMPEST, iE and EVERLASTERS will be able to get new TEMPEST content via EVERLAST KOREA with new YouTube videos, written exclusive interviews, and a new segment we created for K-Pop acts and artists to help their fans get to know them on a more relatable-level! Before the start of the new year, let’s all get to know the members of TEMPEST in a more casual setting through our new interview series, ONLY THE FUN QUESTIONS!

TEMPEST debuted on March 02, 2022, under Yuehua Entertainment. Consisting of seven members, LEW, Hanbin, Hyeongseop, Hyuk, Eunchan, Hwarang, and Taerae, some of the members already had prior experience on various Korean survival programs before TEMPEST’s debut - HANBIN participated in I-LAND, and hosted his own solo fan meeting that helped him build a wide fanbase. LEW and Hyeongseop participated in Mnet’s show PRODUCE 101 Season 2, as Hwarang appeared in Under Ninteen on MBC. All members have their own charms and talents that have been showcased prior to or during their debut.
Since this septet debuted earlier this year, TEMPEST established themselves as a rising act worth watching and listening to. They will surely imprint their presence on global K-Pop fans with their stunning visuals and irreplaceable performances. As they end 2022 with their latest comeback, let’s get to know the members more with a series of ONLY FUN questions!

EVERLAST KOREA: What is your most used emoji?
LEW: I mostly use the heart and bear emojis! (❤🐻)
HANBIN: ❤️

EUNCHAN: Wearing sunglasses with a little bit of coolness! (😎)
HWARANG: I use the blue heart very often. I like blue, and I want to share what I like with iE! (💙)
TAERAE: It looks the most happy. (😋)
EVERLAST KOREA: What is one of your pet-peeves?
LEW: Me, when I waste my time?
HANBIN: A ghost.
HYEONGSEOP: Jeyukbokkeum (Stir-fried pork).
HYUK: A lie.
EUNCHAN: Getting interrupted while sleeping.
HWARANG: Being rude.
TAERAE: Breaking a time commitment or being a time bandit.
EVERLAST KOREA: What are all of your favorite foods?
LEW: These days, I like spicy and honey flavor boneless chicken.
HANBIN: Hotpot.
HYEONGSEOP: Samgyeonsal (Grilled pork belly)! I also like ice cream too.
HYUK: Absolutely ramyun!
EUNCHAN: I like homemade meals.
HWARANG: Buldak Ramyun (Hot Chicken Flavor Ramyun).
TAERAE: My favorite is a strawberry latte.
EVERLAST KOREA: What is at the top of your bucket list?
LEW: Mastering 3 languages.
HANBIN: Traveling around the world with family.
HYEONGSEOP: Traveling around the world.
HYUK: Sky diving.
EUNCHAN: Being healthy.
HWARANG: Traveling with my parents.
TAERAE: A TEMPEST solo concert.
EVERLAST KOREA: What is your go-to song to listen to nowadays?
LEW: “Duet” - Rachael Yamagata
HANBIN: “Golden Hour” - JVKE
HYEONGSEOP: “Dragon” - TEMPEST
HYUK: Recently, I have listened to Baek Yerin sunbaenim’s songs.
EUNCHAN: I like ballads. I listen to Sung Si Kyung sunbaenim’s “Every Moment of You.”
HWARANG: Most recently, I listened to Primary’s “The Expression on Stance.” The simple lyrics and the melody line in the chorus are earworms!
TAERAE: I recommend NCT 127 sunbaenim’s “Back 2 U!”
EVERLAST KOREA: What new or old Korean slang have you been using a lot these days?
LEW: “DR” (Korean slang for dinner recommendation)! iE loves us recommending dinner for them, so I am always being considerate for recommendations.
HANBIN: “Even better.”
HYEONGSEOP: “Convebox?” It means a convenience store’s lunch box!
HYUK: “ITUH!” (The important thing is an unbreakable heart - a famous quote of DEFT, the league of legends player).
EUNCHAN: “Nice!”
HWARANG: Since winter is back, I think it should be “Eor-jug-a” (I only drink iced coffee even when it’s freezing).
TAERAE: I dunno.
EVERLAST KOREA: If you had to delete all but three apps from your mobile phone, which ones would you keep?
LEW: For work - KakaoTalk, camera for selfies, and official fan-site to communicate with iE!
HANBIN: KakaoTalk, Google, and Rummikub (lol)!
HYEONGSEOP: Music-related application, photo album, and notes.
HYUK: Official fan-site, KakaoTalk, and the internet.
EUNCHAN: KakaoTalk, YouTube, and music-related application.
HWARANG: Camera, official fan-site, and YouTube.
TAERAE: Official fan-site, YouTube, and KakaoTalk.

EVERLAST KOREA: What are two skills that you wished you had?
LEW: The ability to teleport, and the ability to never get exhausted!
HANBIN: Flying abilities, and the power of being safe from harm.
HYEONGSEOP: Timemachine and teleportation.
HYUK: I want to have teleportation too, and a time-freezing ability!
EUNCHAN: Teleportation and magical abilities.
HWARANG: Teleportation abilities, and the ability to turn back time.
TAERAE: What we all want is similar? I want teleportation abilities, and limitless stamina.
VERLAST KOREA: What is your hidden or secret talent that iE doesn’t know you have?
LEW: I memorize choreography very fast, but I also forget it quickly too.
HANBIN: [HANBIN was thinking…]
HYEONGSEOP: Full of passion. At the beginning I'm clumsy, but with passion and patience, I finally make it.
HYUK: I...I think I have good reflexes?
EUNCHAN: There is no secret for me.
HWARANG: I’m good at running, honestly. I might be faster than EUNCHAN...?
TAERAE: TAERAE is afraid of ghosts!
EVERLAST KOREA: What are some hobbies or activities that you all like to do individually or as a group?
LEW: I like working out, going to the gym, taking a walk, and riding a bicycle. I just like almost every sports activity.
HANBIN: iE would already know - taking photography!
HYEONGSEOP: Studying a foreign language! The process of getting to know and understanding the unknown territory is so fun.
HYUK: Watching football plays - it was very fun watching recently!
EUNCHAN: I like to watch movies, but these days, I don’t get to watch a lot.
HWARANG: I like to do physical activities. Whenever I have downtime, I’ll go bowling or go to the Han-river to ride a skateboard.
TAERAE: Watching miniature videos.
EVERLAST KOREA: If you could make a fan sign for iE, what would it say?
LEW: “I missed you. We prepared a lot for iE only! Let’s have a lot of fun!”
HANBIN: “I always have a feeling of appreciation and love for you. So do you, right?”
HYEONGSEOP: “I want to give you happiness more than what I feel. And I will show you how I continuously keep developing. I want to share more emotions with you through our music and stages. We are making miracles for every single moment!”
HYUK: "We are here because you are with us. Our iE is always my everything."
EUNCHAN: “I’m so excited and happy to meet iE at a place just for us! Sincerely thank you for loving TEMPEST.”
HWARANG: “You waited for a long time, right? I’m so glad to see iE up close. I will work hard to meet you more often and up close. We love you! 💙”

EVERLAST KOREA: Would all of you be willing to film a mukbang with EVERLAST KOREA, where you guys try diverse cuisines?
HANBIN: Of course. I really like that! We all eat very well.
HYEONGSEOP: Sure. I would be so happy to be with you! And I think it’s a great honor to have an interview with you today. We will also be growing for the day we meet in San Francisco.
HWARANG: Yes!! I really want to go to San Francisco once, and it would be better if I get a chance to eat the food you introduce to us!
